Performer’s Bubble

Singing Session 8, Pop-up School, Sun 22 June 2014 10am The Gallery Cafe Chapel 21 Old Ford Road London E2 9PL

At this session we’ll look into Performer’s Bubble technique.

Where are we when we are performing, what is our personal space and where does it end?

This session, follows up from previous two sessions published below on Self-awareness and Performer’s Mask, which we’ll recap on in the class.

The song we’ll work on to fix this technique is No More Blues by Antônio Carlos Jobim.

I look forward to seeing you! ♥

Thought for a day: What do you see in front of you when performing?

Exclusively we will carry on from our previous session about Performer’s Presentation Mask to explore more on what exactly is going on Behind that Mask.

At this session we will cover the presentation technique for a performer. Especially we’ll look into the Mask a stage performance requires you to wear.

The song we are going to work around to fix this technique is a Jazz Standard – Why Don’t You do Right  written and composed in 1936 by Joseph “Kansas Joe” McCoy a version by Peggy Lee.
